Portugolf® is a registered trademark of "El Sur Existe", a company with its headquarters in Fuengirola, Málaga, southern Spain. Founded in 1995, since 2000 we have been a bonded travel agent (C.I.AN 29774-2) with all the legal guarantees that the Spanish Law of Combined Trips ("Ley de Viajes Combinados") provides to clients, including a guaranteed liability coverage of up to €100,000 as well as mandatory responsability insurances, regular inspections, etc.
GolfinSpain.com, our first website back in 1995, was a pioneer in its sector, one of the first golf-themed websites in the world.
With over 300,000 golf reservations to date and a list of clients that exceeds 65,000, both from within Spain and worldwide, our almost three decades of operation is your guarantee of efficiency when planning your holiday.
We offer all kinds of golf-related services to travellers around the world, as well as specialised consultancy and marketing services to international companies.

When you book a green fee or holiday package with us you are fully covered legally. We offer coverage up to €100,000 in accordance with Spanish and European Union regulations – and equivalent to ABTA in the United Kingdom.

This means, example, if you need to cancel a booking or have an issue with a particular golf club or hotel (due to a direct online agreement with the establishment before contracting our services), our experienced team will be able to step in, back you up and, almost certainly, resolve your problem and obtain better conditions for you.

Best Price Commitment
We are convinced that you will not be able to find a better deal anywhere else, because we work hard to find the best possible prices and packages, thanks to our long-standing experience, solid local contacts and ample volume of business (more than 6500 clients and +300000 golf reservations since 2000). However, on the rare occasion you do find a better deal somewhere else, send us details of the quote and we will either match their price (if the same conditions apply) or offer you a 10% discount on a future trip that you book with us.
Our history
GolfinSpain was launched
Founded as a directory of Spanish golf websites, being one of the world’s very first online golf websites.
Historic Ryder Cup at Valderrama
Our website was the only one in the world marketing Ryder Cup accommodation packages. Our live coverage of the event was an incredible success as no other site was publishing the match results live.
American Express World Golf Championships
With Tiger Woods as the event’s main drawcard, we had a key role on the event’s promotion and marketing.
We became an accredited Travel Agency and started offering green fee and golf packages to our already large client base.
Our website was revamped, improved and also published in Spanish.
Volvo Masters at Valderrama
For several years we assisted Volvo in marketing the event, as well as handling all advance ticket sales.
Volvo World Match Play Championships at Finca Cortesin
This time working for IMG, we once again managed promotion and ticket sales for the tournament.
Spanish Open 2016
Indirect collaborations through our marketing agency (alsur.es) in the promotion of the Spanish Open and the Andalucía Valderrama Masters.

GolfinSpain represented Valderrama at IAGTOs North American Convention in Miami with the “Spain’s Finest Project”.
